Nate is the fourth major storm to strike the United States in less than two months, following Harvey, Irma and Maria. Even though we'll see a bit of sun Wednesday morning, it does not last long.

By Tuesday, another period of dry weather is expected, but a few showers will move through later for the midweek period.

- Cloudy, rain tapers after 3pm. The rain will come to an end Monday night.

The remnants of Nate - the hurricane-turned-tropical depression - will keep CT wet Monday.

Travel delays are expected on Columbus Day and motorists should be alert for flooded streets and roadways. The heaviest rain will fall in time for the evening commute. We will be on the air tonight with more details on what you can expect for the rest of the week. Nate will bring a surge of tropical moisture to Northeast Ohio from the south, acting as fuel to forming showers from instability brought on from the low pressure.

Friday looks partly sunny and comfortable with highs in the low and mid 70s.
