Facebook recently announced that it sold $100,000 worth of ads to the Russian-linked Internet Research Agency. An Oath spokeswoman did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment Monday.

Google is now the latest company from Silicon Valley who might have had a hand in influencing the 2016 election. USA intelligence agencies have concluded that Moscow's goal was to help elect Donald Trump. Facebook said they are still conducting the enquiry and are looking at thousands of more ads that seems to bear the same overtures of a possible Russian Federation link. According to lawmakers and researchers, the company employs hundreds of "trolls" to post fake or discredited content from phony social media accounts posing as United States or European citizens.

Investigators have previously concluded Russian companies with ties to the Kremlin bought at least $100,000 in ads on Facebook, potentially reaching 10 million Americans. Facebook has said those ads reached just 10 million of the 210 million USA users that log onto the service each month. The Washington Post was the first to report that Russians also purchased ads on Google.

Facebook had said that it had found that an operation likely based in Russian Federation spent $100,000 on thousands of US ads promoting divisive social and political messages in a two-year-period through May.

For instance, the volume will automatically adjust depending on the ambient sound of the room its in or even the time of day. With a single command, you can control multiple smart home devices plus get information you need in the moment.

Google and Facebook are the biggest online advertising companies in the world, and they helped pioneer targeted advertising.

Trump has denied any campaign collusion with Russian Federation, but told a television interviewer he was thinking of "this Russian Federation thing" when he chose to oust Comey in May.

Twitter, meanwhile, has been shown to be a dense thicket of easily faked accounts and news items that allowed alleged Russian operatives to pump out politically divisive and anti-Clinton tweets.

"These ads are significant to our investigation as they help demonstrate how Russian Federation employed sophisticated measures to push disinformation and propaganda to millions of Americans online during the election, in order to sow discord and chaos, and divide us from one another", Representative Adam Schiff, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said in a statement last week.

"They shall be prosecuted for criminal defamation and sued for an amount of Rs 100 crore in the Ahmedabad court", he said. He claims that he took the loans for his business from NBFC on purely commercial terms strictly in accordance with law.

Both Republican and Democratic administrators have said Russian Federation proposed to sow conflict in the United States, spread promulgation and influence the decision.

"If Vladimir Putin is using Facebook or Google or Twitter to, in effect, destroy our democracy, the American people should know about it", Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal said Monday on MSNBC. Twitter and Facebook already had disclosed some Russian accounts, and US investigators say other companies likely were exploited as well.

Other social media giants, Facebook and Twitter, have already indicated that they discovered content financed by Russian interests.
