Apple iPhone X FaceID crack attempts; do they work?

Just days after the iPhone X hit stores on November 3, Vietnamese cybersecurity company Bkavclaims a $150 3D-printed mask bypassed the new Face ID, which is used to unlock the Apple device. The mask was made from a combination of 2D, images, 3D printing and some makeup and it apparently cost around $150 to make. The parts such as eyes are 2D images.
'With Face ID's being beaten by our mask, FBI, CIA, country leaders, leaders of major corporations, ect. are the ones that need to know about the issue, because their devices are worth illegal unlock attempts. Each capture hones the AI's ability to distinguish the owner from an imposter.
The firm hit out at Apple, saying it "has done this not so well" and claiming their video shows "they haven't carried out scientific and serious estimation before deciding to replace Touch ID with Face ID".

Bkav wrote in its blog post that the Face ID is "not an effective security measure" because it can be "fooled by mask".
The brand new iPhone did not recognize the mask but just the face of a team member. Bkav did not respond to a request to further explain its methodologies.
The firm doesn't say how many false starts were encountered before a mask that unlocks it in a single try was created. Apple says the chance of a person unlocking your phone with Face ID is 1 in a million.
