  • Steam Concurrent Users Set a New Record of 3M Online- PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

The game was released in March for the PC as an early access game and was officially taken off the Early-access list on Steam on 21st December. While lag has been a common problem for PUBG, it's particularly frustrating now, as the release of 1.0 was meant to make a number of optimizations to the game.

Though the patch should help smooth things out, there is more work to be done.

The PUBG team explains that it was a "combination of causes" that resulted in this lag and issues with character placement readjustment.

Hundreds Of Iranians Protest High Prices In Northeastern City Of Mashhad
The protests were mostly directed at Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's government, the Nazar media network reported. A message calling for "No to high prices" protests was circulated recently on Telegram, he wrote in another tweet.

Polygon broke the news about the issue, pointing out a Xbox One ad for Playerunknown's battlegrounds that looks suspiciously like a concept image created and posted by Reddit user Macsterr.

Well, luckily for us, Bluehole has been working on removing this issue.

Reduced occurrences of the issue where replays occasionally crashed back to the lobby screen.

Chrissy Teigen's Travel Nightmare 'Happens More Often Than People Think'
One person certainly lucked out in this situation. "Why not just land in Tokyo and send the other person back?" she tweeted. She pointed out that boarding pass scanner should have registered the mistake.

A new Xbox One PUBG update has been deployed which aims to reduce intermittent in-game lag, and addresses a crashing and authentication issue. Bluehole has also fixed a problem that prevented players from earning Battle Points from their games, saying that it will announce compensation for those affected players soon.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available now for PC and Xbox One.

The most frequent complaint remains the game's tendency to crash, and the patch also promises "continued performance optimizations" and "a variety of crash fixes" to help combat this.
