  • New Instagram test adds posts your friends like into your feed

Instragram says users can temporarily hide "Recommended for You" posts, with the implication being that they will reappear in their home feed automatically after a short period of time. The recommended posts from accounts that users aren't already following will appear in a user's normal Instagram feed. Instagram announced that 70% of Instagram posts weren't seen in 2016 - the "recommended for you" section is one way to alleviate this issue. Well now, just before the year comes to an end, Instagram is rolling out a new feature called "Recommended for You".

Trying these ways can help you master Instagram, and you can learn a lot while implementing these tips.

This is one of the largest changes to the popular social media app since its inception, and will expose users to a wider network of posts. The feature will allow players to view suggested posts for its users on the basis of the likes and dislikes of its users. Starting soon, Instagram app on Android and iOS device will show you recommended posts in your feed.

Users have choice to follow a hashtag or the new recommended. It has been made explicit that this section will be different from that of the typical main feed, by doing this, it gives users the visual option of disregarding these posts. Instagram hopes that letting users follow their interests will help keep user engagement high, thereby increasing advertising opportunities for brands. "It will contain three to five suggested posts", Tech Crunch quoted an Instagram spokesperson as saying late on Wednesday.

When you find a hashtag you like, open the hashtag page and tap on the following button. Posts related to followed hashtags will appear in users' feed algorithmically, based on factors including recency and quality.

Dear @instagram please put everything back in chronological order and stop doing the recommended posts.
