Amateur wreck hunter Blaine Gibson claims he has found nearly 20 pieces of debris on the western side of the Indian Ocean from the Boeing 777 that vanished with 239 people aboard three years ago.

Flight MH370 disappeared in March 2014, en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, with 239 passengers and crew on board.

Ocean Infinity said in a statement this week that the vessel, which left the South African port of Durban on Tuesday, was taking advantage of favourable weather to move toward "the vicinity of the possible search zone".

Malaysia, China and Australia agreed to suspend the deep-sea sonar search in January after 120,000 square kilometres of seabed were combed without finding any trace of the plane.

"It is our duty to look for answers and the plane, and as of today the government has chose to go ahead with the search", he said.

Liow added the contract would be finalized by next week.

News of the decision was also sent to relatives of those on board the doomed jet.

"The basis of the offer from Ocean Infinity is based on "no cure, no fee".

Simmons is now sitting in the fourth spot behind Kyrie Irving , DeMar DeRozan , and Victor Oladipo in the East guards category. The captains will be the All-Star starters from each conference who receive the most fan votes in respective conferences.

Debris found in the Indian Ocean has been identified as coming from the missing aircraft, but nothing larger than an outboard wing flap has been discovered.

The vessel is carrying several autonomous submarines which can be launched from the boat to scour the seabed for fragments of the jet.

Ocean Infinity has not given details of the new search area.

Nonetheless, Ocean Infinity is reportedly confident it can locate the wreckage using intelligence from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau and Boeing flight simulators, in conjunction with the vessel's enhanced search equipment, according to the Daily Express.
