  • Google fired James Damore in August 2017

Last August, Google fired engineer James Damore for penning a memo (more of a 3,300-word screeching manifesto) that argued against workplace diversity, which he claimed was damaging to political conservatives, who he said are consequently afraid to speak their minds.

The Bears fired John Fox after a 14-34 record in three years and a.292 winning percentage that ranks as the second-lowest in franchise history.

Photo James Damore's lawsuit against Google, which fired him past year after he criticized its diversity efforts, said, "Google's open hostility for conservative thought is paired with invidious discrimination on the basis of race and gender". BuzzFeed News reports that Damore is suing the company on the allegation that it "discriminates against politically conservative white males". "This included employment and business-related topics such as "'diversity" hiring policies, "bias sensitivity" or "social justice.'" The lawsuit also alleges that Google uses illegal hiring quotas in order to fill positions with female and minority candidates. Earlier this month, four women plaintiffs as part of a revised lawsuit, alleged that the company had asked for their prior salaries and had underpaid them compared to their male counterparts.

Tax evasion allegations by Spanish authorities have also damaged Ronaldo's resolve to stay, it's said. Not with the first half, but with the second.

The complaint, which can be read in full below, is packed full of examples of internal communications at Google showing the intense pressure that was brought to bear on conservatives at the company, as well as anyone who disagreed with the political priorities of its progressive employees. In doing so, Damore also painted gross generalizations against women, accusing them of being more neurotic and anxiety-ridden, and he believes these supposed traits render women unsuitable for the stress of higher-level tech jobs.

The company has said it plans to launch roughly 30 missions in 2018 after completing a record 18 a year ago . It wasn't until earlier in January that the company was able to confirm a hard time or date for the launch.

A Google spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment. Google terminated Damore for the memo, saying it was contrary to the company's basic values and code of conduct.
