  • Introducing Big Format Gaming Displays the best way to experience PC games on a big-screen display

This is something big all gamers must be waiting for. Well, NVIDIA, and its partners (HP, ASUS, and Acer), certainly seems to think so, because it has just announced the 65-inch Big Format Gaming Display (BFGD) with HDR, G-SYNC, with an NVIDIA SHIELD built-in.

At a desk, it's unlikely you'd be able to view the entirety of this monitor without a lot of head movement.

With 4K resolutions, HDR support, low latencies, and a 120 Hz refresh rate, these displays have plenty in them to make gamers drool.

Malaysia agrees to allow USA firm to resume MH370 search
Flight MH370 disappeared in March 2014, en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, with 239 passengers and crew on board. Ocean Infinity has not given details of the new search area.

The G-Sync technology from Nvidia does a really good job at eliminating syncing problems in games and also helps reducing the stutter in fast-paced game, allowing for smoother panning shots. Other specifications include a full array direct backlight as well as DCI-P3 cinema quality color gamuts. The first OEMs to announce G-Sync BFGDs are Asus with the ROG Swift PG65 and Acer with the Predator BFGD.

Even though a remote and Shield controller are included, you don't actually need them to interact with the display.

With support for the Google Assistant, the entire experience can be controlled simply by using your voice. Nope the feature list of the BFGD doesn't stop there, insane I know, it also has (like most things at CES) Google Assistant built-in, so basically you just yell at the screen and cool stuff happens. The pricing and more details of the device will be revealed later. A new big gaming displays are about to appear on the market.

The Powerball jackpot also surged, sitting at $550 million, with a $348 million cash option, after no victor Wednesday. In total, the Mega Millions drawing for Friday saw 21 million tickets sold according to CBS News .

If all that wasn't tempting enough, the displays are effectively Nvidia Shield devices as well, embedding the Shield components behind the screen so you get all of that Android TV goodness too - apps from Spotify to Netflix, plus a host of Android games as well.
