  • Instagram fitness model Jen Selter was removed from a New York-bound American Airlines flight on Saturday after she got into an argument with a flight attendant

Selter says a flight attendant yelled at her to sit down so they could take off, but when she told him to "relax" because the two people sitting next to her were in the bathroom, he asked her if she wanted to be kicked off the plane.

Selter told Good Morning America that American Airlines "have to treat their passengers differently".

An argument broke out with cabin staff when the social media influencer was asked to sit down after leaving her seat, reports CBS New York. "I did nothing wrong but got kicked off the plane", Selter wrote in her post.

A new video shows a social media star being kicked off a flight headed for NY after a heated argument.

That's when the flight attendant asked her if she wished to get off the plane, and Selter responded "yes".

Another clip shows the woman and her sister exiting the plane.

The model's first video indicates two individuals who seem, by all accounts, to be an aircraft pilot and flight orderly as Selter discloses to them why she stood up from her seat.

The 24-year-old, famous for posting workouts and toned selfies to her almost 12 million Instagram followers, was flying with her sister that day. They were brought on after she clashed with a flight attendant while the plane was delayed for an hour and a half. "She was just standing after two hours, we were waiting in the airplane", the woman said in the video. "American offered her hotel accommodations and transportation, which she declined". "But they shouldn't kick people off unless something is actually unsafe".
