At the winter Olympics that ended in Pyeongchang last month, Poland won two medals, placing it 20th in the medals table.

The 2018 Winter Paralympics or the XII Paralympic Winter Games, is an global winter multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities that is scheduled to be held in Pyeongchang County, Gangwon Province, South Korea, from 9 to 18 March.

He said North Korea's participation and the world's support for inter-Korean peace have made the PyeongChang Olympics last month a huge success and a tremendous gift for South Korea.

The decision was reportedly linked to a disagreement between the two Koreas on the addition of the disputed Dokdo islets, which are also claimed by Japan, on the flag.

The two Korean nations agreed to "respect each other's stance and march separately" following the flag disagreement, BBC reported.

Just like the recent Olympics also in Pyeongchang, two issues dominate: Russian Federation and North Korea.
