Sam Allardyce is making plans for next season at Everton despite disgruntlement among some supporters over his playing style.
The 63-year-old, who took charge of Everton in November, has helped the Merseyside climb from 18th to eighth in the league but despite the team's progress, British media reports have questioned Allardyce's continued stay at Goodison Park.
Speaking to BBC Sport after the match, he said: "I can't honestly produce any more than I'm doing. We have some clarity moving forward now".
"We have got 14 points from our last seven games".
"I can only say it's just one of those things, and if we keep winning, hopefully they might change it to love".
Allardyce was pleased with Everton's rise during his five-month reign and has urged his team to improve next season. We are riding high and are finishing the season strongly. We have turned the corner away from home. When you hit that safe 40-point mark it's very easy for a player to think about his holidays and actually switch off.
