The Montana senator on Wednesday made public allegations from whistleblowers against navy Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, Trump's military physician and nominee to run the Department of Veterans Affairs, that helped him decide to step aside.

The Navy officer who took over for Jackson as Trump's personal doctor, Sean Conley, will continue serving the president, according to Politico.

On Thursday, Trump's physician Ronny Jackson withdrew from consideration to head the department after allegations that he had been lax with prescription drugs and drank alcohol on the job.

"I know things about Tester that I could say, too, and if I said them, he'd never be elected again", Trump said at a rally in Washington, Michigan.

The hardware is the company's first standalone headset and has launched with more than 1,000 apps, games and experiences. Oculus Go is available for purchase on Oculus's website and via retailers including Amazon , Best Buy , and Newegg .

The White House released records that it says show the allegations were not true.

Hours after Trump tweeted that Tester should resign, a senior Democratic aide also said party members didn't think Trump's bashing of Tester would resonate in the state. They were the result of an internal White House review of allegations raised against Jackson during his brief confirmation process. The report was based on interviews with more than 20 current and former colleagues, Tester said.

On Friday, the National Republican Senate Committee also seized on the Secret Service statement to go after the vulnerable Tester as they try to claim his seat.

On Sunday's 'Fox and Friends' program, Montana's Democrat Senator Jon Tester was a top of discussion with comments from Deputy News Editor Alexi McHammond of the Axios website.

Tester, in a statement, didn't directly respond to Trump but said he was committed to aiding veterans. "Not fair, Tester!", Trump added... "Very dishonest and sick!"

Separately, the Secret Service said it has no evidence to support an allegation that its personnel intervened to prevent Jackson from disturbing former President Barack Obama during a foreign trip in 2015. The agency said it has found "no information that would indicate the allegation is accurate" and no record of any incident involving Jackson.

Trump named Jackson to replace David Shulkin, the former VA secretary, in March after the department's inspector general released a report faulting Shulkin for a trip he took to Europe a year ago with his wife, whose travel expenses were paid by taxpayer funds.
