Gwyneth Paltrow has released more details of her alleged experiences with discgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein.

The 45-year-old Shakespeare in Love Oscar victor appeared on The Howard Stern Show for an episode this week when she shared more details surrounding the infamous confrontation at the opening of Broadway's Hamlet in 1995.

"It was like the equivalent of throwing him against the wall", Paltrow said. "He said, 'If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I'll kill you.' Yeah, he's great".

Weinstein had hired Paltrow, then 22, as the lead in the 1996 screen-adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Emma.

She told Stern that she was "shocked" and "blindsided" by Weinstein's advances.

"He came back and told me exactly what he said", Paltrow told Stern.

"Brad is someone who is really intelligent", Paltrow said elsewhere in the interview with Stern.

The 45-year-old actress told DJ Howard Stern that 54-year-old Brad approached the disgraced movie mogul on the opening night of a Broadway production of "Hamlet".

"I love him for this", she said, adding that she had been "shaken" by the way she claims she was treated by Weinstein before Brad took action.

She also says Kate Hudson doesn't smoke right now "because she's pregnant". She left immediately, but told Pitt, her boyfriend at the time, about the disturbing encounter. "I was a kid, I was signed up, I was petrified", she told Jodi Kantor and Rachel Abrams of The New York Times, who won the Pulitzer Prize for their report and launching a revolution against sexual harassment in Hollywood.

"And I said, "I'll talk to you, but I'm not sure I am going to go on the record about this", said Paltrow. "I love him for this too", Paltrow replied. Weinstein, whose downfall kicked off the wide spread of the #MeToo movement, has denied all allegations of non-consensual sexual contact.
