  • Oppo Find X the next to kill Apple’s notch

The new Oppo Find X sports pop-up front cameras to accommodate a bezel-free display without adopting the controversial notch like other smartphones.

And on the back of it there is the must-have dual-camera setup with 16- and 20-megapixel sensors.

The flagship will be available from August 2018, with OPPO confirming that the Find X will be released in Europe. On the front, there's a 25-megapixel camera for selfies, which Oppo says has been combined with a 3D camera array that can better figure out lighting to more accurately illuminate your face. But on the Oppo Find X, the phone's entire top side basically slides out, which appears to me to be the more elegant and aesthetically pleasing solution.

Andres Cunha to officiate Iran vs Spain
Costa put Spain ahead in the 54th minute, although there was a touch of luck to the goal. "It was hard for us to create chances". David Silva sent a free kick straight into the arms of keeper Ali Beiranvand in the 25th minute for Spain's first shot on goal.

The Find X's software is clearly inspired by iOS, and just like the iPhone X, it relies exclusively on facial recognition - there is no fingerprint scanner. The sliding mechanism also means you can never put a protective case on the Oppo Find X, which may not always be the best idea if you're a member of the fellowship of fallen phones (it also means the phone isn't water-resistant like every smartphone today).

There are a few things that are not present on the OPPO Find X, first of that is fingerprint security. Using the O-Face 3D Structure Light tech, OPPO's Find X will build Omoji that capture your facial expressions in real time and then let you export the results to an album or use them in chat apps. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 takes center stage, with the chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM and a healthy 256 GB of storage. OPPO claims it has a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 percent, and this effectively allows the phone to carry a 6.4-inch panel while remaining compact enough to operate one-handed.

The Oppo Find X is an attempt to offer a full-screen phone without the notch.

XXXTentacion Dead After Being Shot in Florida
Video from the scene shows him unconscious in the driver's seat of his BMW i8 before police arrive. Rapper XXXTentacion has reportedly been shot and has been wounded according to TMZ .

The Find X doesn't have a fingerprint scanner like many of its competitors in market. The Oppo Find X dimensions measure at 156.7x74.3x9.4mm, and it weighs about 186 grams. Pricing starts at €999 for the 256GB model, while a souped-up Lamborghini model - a carbon fiber texture on the rear with the carmaker's logo - will set you back €1,699. In terms of software, Oppo installed Color OS 5.1, a customization of Android 8.1 Oreo that's focused on AI.

Users can charge the 3730-mAh battery using the USB 2.0 Type-C port on the bottom of the phone. The phone has been launched in two colours - Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. The front camera can also be used for the 3D emoji feature for livening up your chats. It's also not the slide-up motorized camera system either, since that's just plain silly. Some of you might already be raising an eyebrow, but OPPO states that the mechanism is quite durable, tested in its labs and rated for at least 300,000 actuations.
