This will let users upload videos that are up to one-hour long - a huge difference from its incumbent 1 minute-limit.

The new feature is going to be available immediately globally so you should see it on your app at some stage today. CEO Systrom said in statement onstage at the press event that, "It's time for video to move forward, and evolve". "Teens may be watching less TV, but they are watching more creators online", he said.

Systrom positioned IGTV as Instagram's answer to shifting entertainment consumption habits. This will allow for more immersion, Instagram hopes, and longer sessions than the traditional app has allowed.

As for content producers, the launch of IGTV beckons all to keep up and adapt to new formats.

As you watch, you can like videos, leave a comment, and follow others.

Mexico Proves It's No Fluke at World Cup
A second victory on Saturday gives it six points and a chance to win Group F on Wednesday when the team faces Sweden . South Korea will be eliminated if Sweden wins or draws.

Instagram reached two major milestones today.

There are a few notable differences between the three though. Instagram is also allowing anyone to create their own IGTV channel.

"How we watch is changing quickly but what we watch is changing too", Systrom said, pointing out the growing popularity of contents by the exponentially-growing number of creators. It starts playing as soon as you open the app, so you don't have to search to get started. There's four different categories for the videos: For You, Following, Popular, and Continue Watching. Also like TV, IGTV has channels. But, in IGTV, the creators are the channels.

Like YouTube, IGTV will focus its spotlight on its brightest stars allowing you to uncover new channels and personas that appeal to your specific interests. Instagram has always been a place to connect with the people who inspire, educate and entertain you every day.

Instagram just unveiled a new way to help it compete with the likes of YouTube and Snapchat.

Kim leaves China as S. Korea urges 'concrete' plan on nukes
USA defence secretary James Mattis admitted today that he is not aware of North Korea taking any steps towards denuclearisation. In return Trump ordered the suspension of military exercises with South Korea, a longstanding demand of the Pyongyang regime.

However, Instagram says that anyone will be able to create and upload content on IGTV through the new app or on the web.

One big differentiator between IGTV and YouTube: The former uses full-screen vertical video. But be careful watching if you're at work.

IGTV aims for users to watch it just like TV.

Systrom resisted talking advertising on IGTV at the launch, but you could bet the company will not make IGTV an ad-free portal.

This is a shocking Kevin Love report
Their best bet? A shot in the dark, but one that could make him take a quick glance back, already having a foot out of the door. Granted, if James re-signs, the Cavs - barring a near-miracle on draft night - won't be on the Golden State Warriors' level.
