The new AirPods will feature noise cancellation technology and water resistance, according to Bloomberg's unnamed sources. In the future, Apple may also add a heart-rate monitor and other health-tracking sensors. Apple said Other Products revenue was up 38% year-over-year in its second quarter, reaching almost $4 billion in total revenue for the period.

Trump's immigration order sparks confusion and deep concern - global
Under the Obama administration, such families were usually ordered back to their home country but not charged as a criminal. But now, with the executive order , the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will take custody of the entire family.

The new and improved AirPods will likely be a bit more expensive than existing models, allowing Apple to segment the product line in the same way it does the iPhone. Apple supposedly planned to release them in 2018, but ran into development challenges which caused them to push back the release date. They will allegedly sit above the Beats headphones sold by Apple. Additionally, the upcoming high-end AirPods will include a water resistance feature meant to protect the accessory from rain and sweat. Apple is reportedly in talks with audio systems manufacturer Tymphany for the over-ear headphones, though both companies have yet to close any deal, according to the report.

Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. Now, the company is building on that expertise and knowledge and seems to be expanding its audio product lineup to cater to a wider range of audience. First, Apple is said to be working on own-brand over-ear wireless headphones.

Apple's latest music-focused device, the HomePod, was also delayed, and has seen sluggish sales so far - although reviewers praised the sound quality.

Inventec executives met with Apple executives in California in recent weeks to discuss future HomePod orders, but a final decision on working with Inventec on the new model hasn't been made, the people said. It intends to expand its partnership with Foxconn and reduce reliance on its smaller vendors like Inventec.
