Stormy Daniels arrested in 'political motivated act'

Adult performer turned Trump adversary Stormy Daniels was arrested Wednesday night (July 11) after allegedly allowing a patron of the Cleveland, Ohio strip club Sirens to touch her, which is a violation of state law.

"I am pleased to report that the charges against my client have been dismissed in their entirety", Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti tweeted.

She is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment on Friday.

Daniels allegedly held her breasts against one female detective's face, before "forcing" the face of a male officer into her chest and "smacking his face with her bare breasts". 'It reeks of desperation, ' Avenatti says Earlier, Avenatti criticized the charges as "bogus".

The attorney for porn actress Stormy Daniels says prosecutors have dropped all charges against her following her overnight arrest at an OH adult club. "I deeply apologise to my fans in Columbus", the statement read. A person who answered the phone at the strip club declined to comment. Avenatti tweeted that his client would not perform at the club Thursday night. In 2016, Daniels sued Trump claiming that he never signed the nondisclosure or "hush" agreement, in hopes of making it invalid.

Daniels has gained nationwide notoriety after she claimed she had an affair with Trump in 2006 and accused him of paying her $130,000 in hush money during the 2016 election.

Earlier this week, Daniels performed in Washington minutes before President Donald Trump announced his Supreme Court nomination.
